Skylotec ACX Lifting Goods

The ActSafe ACX Power Ascender Equipment Lifting Training is a half-day (4-hour) course designed for individuals who are required to use ActSafe ACX Power Ascenders for lifting goods during work at height.

The training combines theory and practical exercises to ensure safe and correct use of power ascenders in lifting operations.

Participants learn general safety guidelines, basic requirements for equipment lifting, and how to manage risks related to Li-ion batteries. The course covers correct rope selection, ascender components and functions, pre-use inspections, rope feeding, and the use of four different lifting setups. 

Practical training also includes application limitations and emergency procedures to ensure safe operation in real working conditions.

Training is delivered in small groups with a maximum of 6 participants to ensure a strong hands-on focus. The course is valid for 24 months and can be conducted at GWS Academy in Dobra, Poland, or onsite at customer locations.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Working at Heights or Rope Access certificate; slinging or rigging qualifications are beneficial.

Skylotec ACX Lifting Goods and Personnel

This is a 2-day (16-hour) course designed for individuals who use ActSafe ACX Power Ascenders for lifting goods and personnel during work at height.

The training combines in-depth theory with intensive practical exercises to ensure safe, correct, and responsible use of power ascenders in demanding work environments.

Participants learn general safety guidelines, equipment lifting requirements, risk management related to Li-ion batteries, correct rope selection, and the functionality of ascender components and controls. 

The course focuses on correct pre-use inspections, safe rope feeding, use of backup devices, and maintaining 100% tie-off during lifting operations. Practical training includes all four lifting setups for both personnel and equipment lifting, transition between setups, and emergency and rescue procedures.

Training is delivered in very small groups of up to 4 participants to ensure maximum hands-on practice and close instructor supervision. The course is valid for 24 months and can be delivered at GWS Academy in Dobra, Poland, or onsite at customer locations.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Working at Heights certificate; slinging or rigging qualifications, Slinger Signaller certification, and Rope Access experience are beneficial. The training is delivered using ActSafe ACX equipment from ActSafe.

This is a 1-day (8-hour) course designed for experienced personnel who use ActSafe ACX Power Ascenders for lifting goods and personnel during work at height.

The training builds on existing rope access competence and focuses on safe, correct, and responsible use of power ascenders in complex lifting scenarios.

Participants learn when ascenders must not be used, apply general safety guidelines, and follow basic requirements for equipment lifting. The course covers risk awareness related to Li-ion batteries, correct rope selection, ascender components and controls, and thorough pre-use inspections. 

Practical training includes correct rope feeding, use of backup devices, all four lifting setups for personnel and equipment lifting, transitions between setups while maintaining 100% tie-off, and emergency and rescue procedures.
