GWO Bolt Tightening Using Energy-Powered Tools Module is a one-day (8-hour) training designed for individuals holding a valid GWO BTT Mechanical certificate who wish to specialise in tasks related to bolt tightening and tensioning in the wind turbine industry.
The training focuses on the practical, real-world application of energy-powered tools, enabling participants to independently plan, execute, and finalise bolt-tightening procedures in accordance with specified standards and work instructions.
Particular emphasis is placed on safe working practices, correct tool usage, and consistent quality in bolt-tightening and tensioning operations within wind turbines.
The course is conducted in accordance with the GWO Basic Technical Training standard issued by the Global Wind Safety Organisation.
The course has no expiry date and includes ongoing assessment in line with GWO requirements.
