HV Cable Pulling (1)

GWO High Voltage Cable Pulling

This is a 1-day (8-hour) course designed for individuals who hold a valid GWO BTT Mechanical certification and are involved in supporting HV cable pulling operations within the wind industry.

The training combines theory and practical exercises to prepare participants to safely and effectively support HV cable pulling activities, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and correct work practices.

Participants gain an understanding of fundamental HV cable pulling procedures, risk awareness, and their role in supporting safe and controlled operations.

The course aims to improve overall work quality while promoting safe behavior during HV cable handling and installation. Upon completion, participants are prepared to continue with company-specific HV cable pulling training.

Training is delivered in accordance with the relevant GWO standard issued by the Global Wind Safety Organisation.

**Practical Information**

Classes run either from 08:00 to 16:00, with a maximum of 12 participants.

The course has no expiry.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, wear working clothes and safety boots, hold a valid GWO BTT Mechanical certificate, and have a valid WINDA ID
