GWO Sea Survival

This is a 1-day (6.5-hour) course designed for individuals working in or travelling to offshore wind farms.

The training equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to act safely and responsibly during offshore operations, including emergency situations at sea.

Through a combination of theory and hands-on exercises, participants learn how to take correct preventive actions when moving between shore, installation vessels, and wind turbine generators, both during normal operations and emergency scenarios.

Training is delivered in accordance with the GWO Basic Safety Training Standard issued by the Global Wind Safety Organisation.

**Practical Information**

The course is conducted in cooperation with the Maritime Academy in Szczecin and takes place at the MUSTC Maritime Academy Training Center in Szczecin, Poland.

Classes run from 08:00 to 15:00, with a maximum of 12 participants to ensure effective practical training.

The course is valid for 24 months and includes ongoing assessment in line with GWO requirements.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, weigh less than 120 kg including training equipment, and hold a valid WINDA ID.
