GWO Slinger Signaller
Training is a 2-day (14-hour) course designed for wind industry personnel involved in slinging techniques and signaling during straightforward lifting operations.
The training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and efficiently support lifting activities in accordance with a predefined lift plan and identified hazards.
Participants learn how to select and inspect lifting equipment, communicate effectively during lifting operations, correctly attach and secure loads, and understand the roles and responsibilities of slingers and signalers during crane operations.
Practical training focuses on real-life lifting scenarios to ensure safe cooperation with lifting teams on site. Training is delivered in accordance with the GWO Slinger Signaler Standard issued by the Global Wind Safety Organisation.
**Practical Information**
Classes run either from 08:00 to 16:00, with a maximum of 12 participants.
The course has no expiry and includes ongoing assessment and a theoretical test in line with GWO requirements.
Participants must be at least 18 years old, wear working clothes and safety boots, and hold a valid WINDA ID.
